In other news, I appear to be suffering from a severe case of Fandom Apathy. It's happened to me every three years or so for the past fifteen. I'm still reading and watching and thinking about scenarios and characterisation and writing, but just can't get myself to expend the energy to do anything beyond that, even though I'd like to. It just seems like so much work. Don't know what else to do besides wait it out, though. Buhlas.

What you need is a new injection of fun. A new fan friend, or a new comm to join, or a new idea, or even a new (additional, not replacing) fandom.

Well, it's not that I want anime specifically, just that I swore off of western TV in anger after Farscape was cancelled. (sob) But that definitely looks like an awesome comm--cheers for the rec!

Oh dear. PoT was permanently spoiled for me when I was forced to watch it every Friday night with young Host Brother looong before it was ever known to the West. I'd tell you about the atrocious way they used to hype it, but then you would have to hate the fandom too;)
