What I Am Currently Reading
The True Queen – Zen Cho
I'm pretty sure I figured out the big reveal on page 14, but it will probably still be a fun ride to get there. Thus far, Cho seems to be focused more on narrating a good story than narrating a story in period appropriate style, and I'm enjoying the result.
The Half-Drowned King – Linnea Hartsuyker
It wasn't clear to me whether this was historical fiction or historical fantasy. As of this week, the novel has moved firmly into the latter categor.
The Virtu – Sarah Monette
Still trucking.
What I'm Reading Next
Profoundly unclear at the time of writing. I might make a push to finish Josiah Bancroft's Senlin Ascends.
