So it looks like fandom is not getting off easy this time, and that LJ Abuse is being as underhanded as they can about it.

I haven't been able to do much with fandom this past year (I no longer have a private Internet connection), which means I now live in fear of a mass fandom exodus taking place without me.

So. Where are you guys headed, for backup purposes or otherwise? I've had my lj for going on four years now, and I'll be sad to abandon it, but I'm sticking with my fic fix.

Carbon copy of the lj except the tags are slightly different and...it doesn't include fanfiction. ^^; I know, real smart, leave behind the one thing that could actually get me in trouble with livejournal.

Excellent, Smithers...(and not in the least because it means that I am not the only member of lj doing obsessive book posts about what I've read recently).

I've got a lj over bloody_american.greatestjournal.com for emergencies. I know a lot of people got one when the site first came out for whenever LJ was on the fritz and more recently they've been getting one there after the LJ Blackout of '07. There's also InsaneJournal.com which a lot of people are taking a look at as well but I haven't really so I'm not sure if I'll be heading there.

See, I've got a vox account (which I've done exactly nil with), so I went ahead and got mirror GJ account(s). Problem is, I don't want to leave lj. I just want it to stop being so stick-up-the-ass about the very communities that differentiate it from myspace!
