...that I am now reading King of Attolia. This passage in particlar has caught my attention.

As it was, the king could not visit the queen without an embarrassing trek through a roomful of his guards and attendants, down a corridor, and along the same public path past the queen's guards and her attendants. It was well known that this had never happened.


To which I say, you wanna bet, suckas? This is the freakin' Thief of Eddis we're talking about here.
