I mosied down to Ikebukuro for an afternoon of shopping with the lovely [livejournal.com profile] demeter918, but still had two hours to kill before we finally met up. I thus made my way to Kings Comics more out of habit than anything else, because I'd learned through long and painful conditioning not to expect anything.

So what did I find but the newest kgm FMA doujinshi. Then I found the older kgm FMA doujinshi. And then I found an even newer book I hadn't even known about. Words cannot express what extreme, uplifting joy this gave me.

Why?

Because kgm writes the best doujinshi in the world. Hands down, endofstory. She is fabulous. She makes an unbelievable pairing (Ed/Roy) seem like the most obvious, natural thing in the world. And she does it effortlessly. And within character.

I've spent the past 18 months looking for her books at all the Character Queens, K's Books, Animates, Toranoanas, and Mandarakes in the three largest cities in Japan. No luck.

But I have them now!!!

Bliss.

I'm not jealous. Really I'm not. I have my new Bleach wall scroll (http://us.st11.yimg.com/store1.yimg.com/I/toycup_1871_4464767) and two more figurines: Hinamori and Hitsugaya. That my store didn't have any new books or cds since the last time I was in...*cries*
