I've been putting off a visit to the Big City for weeks. Why, you ask? Why, to wait for today, when the fifth Saiyuki Reload tankoubon was released - the last of all the new manga and novels I've been itching to buy.
Today finally rolled around and I headed into the city. It's a little lame to spend $6.00 a pop just to buy manga I could get in town (if anonymity wasn't a factor), so I made plans to go to the city's castle and art museum as well.
Well, the art museum was closed today, and the castle was closed indefinitely for repairs. Okay, so this has turned into a manga-buying venture, I told myself. Very well. It's still cheaper than going all the way to Tokyo. With that thought in mind, I headed to Animate...
...only to discover that none of the new tankoubon I wanted were in stock. No Saiyuki Reload. No Silver Diamond 5. None of the others, either (I had six on the list). Woe. I did manage to console myself with the new issue of Silver Diamand and

sara_tanaquil, I cannot WAIT for you to get your hands on it so that I squee about it to someone else. This series keeps getting better, and better, and better and better. Let me know when you get your IR so that I can start squeeing about it publicly.

Though I must again point out that it would be easier for your whole flist to squee with you if there were TRANSLATIONS hint hint. ^_~
I've been falling further and further behind on plot developments in SD, because I've been too busy
pulling all my hair outtrying to keep up with summarizing G-Defend -- I feel guilty if I spend time trying to decipher another manga. (Is there an ashamed smiley?)But when my magazine arrives, I shall demand detailed squeeage!!

If you want to go ahead and squee publicly now (espcially since my Ichiraci might be late and you'll be heading to China soon), go for it! Just put it under an lj-cut, and I'll virtuously avert my eyes until my magazine comes.
