Immon a Roll

Hoo, three fics in seven days! I'm on a roll! Anyway, the unrelenting bad weather (you want thunder and lightening during a blizzard? Japan has got it!) coupled with the great Life LJ Blackout of '05, has conspired to make me the rockingest author ever. Or at least until the flist heats up enough to throw a wrench in my productivity.

Anyway, I've decided to wrap up as many WIPs as humanly possible. Glancing at my WIP folder, here's what I still have to do:

1) The sequel to the Liar and the Auror. Yes, it will happen. Erm. Sometime.
2) Divine Comedy. I've pulled the first two chapters of this until I can actually get more of it written. What's ironic is that I've known more about the overall plot of this story from the outset than I have for any other fic I've written.
3) Exit Wounds. More Saiyuki Gaiden. Unfortunately, Gaiden is not cooperating.
4) Undoing. bloody_american's birthday fic. Oh my god don't kill me I will finish this fic before next March I swear.
5) Wolves, Lower. The first HP fic I attempted writing, and it shows. Still, it's got a lot of promise, if I can get it going again.
6) Untitled #1. Silver Diamond fic. Unfortunately, I am attempting to make the characters do things they were never intended to do.
7) Untitled #2. Koori no Mamono fic. Unfortunately, I am attempting to make the characters do things they were never intended to do.
8) Untitled #3. Thief/QoA fic. Because I want Gen/Magus goodness. Badly.
9) The closest to actually being completed, this one is fic based on a Bohra Naono doujinshi, of all things. How's that for obscure?
10) I've also got this nice little Roy/Ed thing going on. Problem is, it lacks for a plot.
11) And last is a little bit of Gaiden spec-fic. I'll get around to it one of these days.
12) This isn't an actual entry because we all know that VC fanfic does not exist.

Clearly LJ needs to go kersplat more often. As happens, I was eating something when I got toward the end of the Death Note fic, then decided that wasn't such a good idea. I've not read beyond the first couple chapters of DN, so I don't know if that one qualified as based on current storyline or speculation, but it was ... interesting.

Anyway. One vote for #6. (Silver Diamond :)

Oh, sorry about that; I dislike toward putting warnings for anything beyond the garden variety spoiler stuff on fics. Hope I didn't put you off your dinner for too long. It is a total specfic, btw, so there's no spoilers to speak of. And do keep reading the series; it's one of the best out there, IMO.

Do continue reading DN. It's a way fun series, with one of the more consistently intelligent and civil fanbases I've run across.

And to my way of thinking, there are two types of people out there: SD fans, and people who don't yet realise they're SD fans. Do get the manga, or at least take a look at the translations which will most likely convince you that you NEED the manga.
