In Which We Vent

Four hours spent sitting in front of my laptop has produced about two paragraphs of crap. I despise this part of writing, as it is painful. I have all these ideas bouncing around in my head, but none of them are fully formed enough to be written down and I have no options aside from sitting them out. It's frustrating and it makes my head hurt, because writing is something I have to do (otherwise I wouldn't stick with it through periods like this).

That aside, clares_flaw will be happy to hear that I have solved the plot issue in the Gaiden fic. Hopefull I will get some more written during work tomorrow, as the beginning and end are ready and waiting patiently for a middle.

I hate it when that happens. Just about all you can do about it is keep writing through it, I've found. Hope the words start flowing better for you soon!

Thanks for the well wishing. It's always really hard for me to start writing, so when block comes on, it gets that much more difficult. Couple the block with the insanely strong urge to write, and you have one unhappy Tris.

I know, I know! I had the whole thing plotted out before I finished writing Liar, and I went back to it a few days later.

I didn't spot the gaping plot hole until this past Monday. ::whimper:: Once that's under control, you'll have your fic, I promise.
