I really enjoy seasonal observances. August through New Year's Day is full of them and then...nothing, which is one reason why I look forward to![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
snowflake_challenge each year. I also love being fannish about things. That's harder to do once the yearly grind picks up around March and offline obligations start to eat up much of my energy, so if nothing else, I can get a little dose of fannishness in at the start of the year, and hopefully keep that energy going through the next 11 months.
