1. I am not afraid to be a geek.

2. You know how when little kids get excited about music or a book and run around the room in circles? I never grew out of that.

3. I'm an introvert.

4. I have a green thumb.

5. I get really enthusiastic about the stuff I like.

You know how when little kids get excited about music or a book and run around the room in circles? I never grew out of that.

Neither did I! *high fives you* It makes me sad how social pressures so often make people feel like they can't be SUPER EXCITED AND HAPPY about things. They are missing out on all the fun running around squealing with glee. :D

Same for all 'cept the green thumb. That is getting a bit better. I've only killed a few newly bought plants this year by looking after them as I'm supposed to unlike previous years where it was closer to all of them.

This year I have cherry tomatoes (a friend gave me four seedlings from her garden, three are still growing \0/), parsely, basil, thyme and two types of oregano, and I have also bought a bay tree. I planted sage, supposedly really easy to grow, and it died within a week. My strawberry plants survived from last year and have yet to flower, but I think that's got more to do with whatever creature has been eating the leaves than me.

I also possibly have a lot of potatoes in pots; I buried some sprouting baby spuds but haven't bothered to dig them out as yet.

The plants which have died are numerous, but not as many as previous years. I can almost kill hardy, drought resistant succulents too. Who knew it was possible?
