Ramble the Third: Blood and Ishuca

Attempting to get back on track here. cienna asked for Blood and Ishuca.

I'm hesitant to write about these two because perseid has already done it so, so much more articulately with her excellent posts on the series. (Go read them. NOW.)

( But anyway, what I love the most about these two is the development. )

Ahem.

Living on a remote island in the pacific can create all sorts of unintended consequences in one's private life of which one would never have conceived prior to actually living them.

Take for instance, the time difference, which usually means I chat to family and friends while at work. (Thank you, Gmail chat, for your blessed inconspicuousness. I open a work email in the background while I use you and look busy.)

Of course, if I can chat while at work I can RP there too. (Thank you livejournal, for your email reply function.) Only problem is, if you reply via email, you're stuck with your default user icon in the reply post. Usually this doesn't cause a problem.

Except now I find myself RPing an Ikkaku who, through a wonderful twist of fate, has my default flower icon to represent him during his heartfelt appeals to Renji for bankai aid before I went home and switched to his regular icon in time for Renji's acquiescence. Poignant, really, if you think about it. Until Ikkaku kills you in the face with his zampakuto in retaliation, that is.
