One thing people seem to be forgetting...

...about the whole DN scanslation 'crisis.'

"Oh my god Light is such a dumb name I can't believe they would do this to such a cool character OMGWTF11+1=12"

Um. Not to inject too much logic into your grievance here, but the creators of the series did this to the character. He came that way out of the box. The scanslators don't even factor into it.

And, hey, some of us think Light happens to be a pretty cool name as it is.
