I do recommend Mythos. I was obsessed with Greek mythology too as a kid, but really confused by many of the stories...because my introduction was Bernard Evslin's books. Which are well written but, um, whitewash quite a lot. XD Fry puts that earthiness right back in. And the hardback edition I read is gorgeously illustrated.
I was bummed by the lack of editing in Children of Blood and Bone. It made it a lot worse than it needed to be.
