I like the Shelmerdine because at the end of each chapter they have a reading section, so you're learning the language/grammar and able to apply it.

I've never tried Jenney's Latin -- but I Just looked it up!

Yeah, it's nice because we also have a translator at work who I can ask questions but it's enough to get the basics.
