Oh dear lord, help me.
I appear to be writing 容疑者Xの献身 fanfiction.
Now I'm actually going to have to buy the novels back from BookOff, and what's worse read them. Because as long as I'm writing this thing (and my sense of the story's undisclosed space tells me it is likely to be MASSIVE) I can at least get the ambiance and characterisation right.
(Shameful secret number two: I have yet to read-read the novels, because "Hey everyone! Encyclopedia Brown is using science to solve the mystery" is twice as irksome when the EB in question is really just a massive Marty Stu for the salaryman set.)
Anyay, the DVD comes out tomorrow, so I'll probably end up buying it along with Red Cliff I, which came out a week ago when I was still in Indonesia.
