It's certainly a position to take to say "these benefits are encouraging people not to work at these jobs, so we should stop the benefits and force them to take the jobs" rather than "we should change the jobs to make them more attractive than collecting the benefits." That's the kind of thing that, in a world that isn't ruled by curious capitalists, drives a person out of business because they're openly admitting they want to exploit people as much as they can.
